Abstract: The non-profit sector is currently involved in a renewing process that imposes to
assure high-quality and customised outcomes in conditions of increased complexity, scarce
resources and growing context complexity. These conditions require non-profit
organisations reengineer themselves, introducing new and more efficient managerial
instruments. The purpose of this paper is to present a reference model for knowledge
management in non-profit sector and some more operative models.
